We are looking for freelance chefs or subcontractor to register to support and work alongside workshop leaders in the South East Kent, Portsmouth, Merseyside Areas and meet the demands of our potential school contracts alongside an afterschool and weekend Cooking Academy for young chefs. You will have a full clean driving licence and will need to obtain FULL DBS CERTIFICATE, Minimum Level 2 Food Safety and Allergen Training. You will be responsible for preparing resources and ingredients ready for practical cookery lessons, maintaining cleanliness during the workshops, supporting the workshop leader to deliver sessions and practical tasks like setting up and packing away.

Workshop Leaders for Chef de Party workshops and Little Apples Cooking Academy courses.
Are you a dynamic cook with a positive and engaging personality who loves to work with children and has a great sense of humour? We are looking for freelance or subcontractors to register with us to lead practical cookery lessons in schools for class sizes of children and Cooking Academy Workshops for 20 children on a Saturday in the Merseyside, Knowsley, Wirral, Sefton areas for young chefs. You will have a full clean driving licence and will need to obtain FULL DBS CERTIFICATE, current Level 2 Food Safety or higher, current Allergen Training, current Child Protection and a current First Aid Certificate and be fully registered as self employed. If you are a self-motivated, confident, hardworking and experienced individual who is willing to share your knowledge and teach basic cooking skills to children please contact us. You will have the support of a Food Technician during the session when necessary and work as a team.
You would be responsible for setting up and packing away all resources with your food technician, leading the sessions, meeting allergy or intolerance needs, demonstrating to the group and ensuring the smooth running of the session or class. We supply all equipment including an apron, and can process the DBS Check on your behalf. You will be experienced in leading classes in school and will be expected to take on the responsibility of the session. You will be responsible to the company owner and the school contact. This would suit someone who is looking for an additional income or someone looking for a second contract/job. Some initial training and support given.
